Valhalla, NY - The SUNY Orange women's basketball team dropped a game to Westchester 78-48. With this loss, the Colts fall to 2-16 as the Vikings improve to 15-8 on the season.
The Vikings came out with energy and set the tone for the game quickly. The Colts struggled to find their rhythm, as the Vikings led 36-17 by the end of the first half. Returning from halftime, the Vikings continued their fast pace of play and secured a 78-48 victory.
Leading the Colts was sophomore Adriana Vazquez (Newburgh, NY / John S. Burke ) with 18 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals. Freshman Grace Breheny (Cornwall, NY / Cornwall Central) added 10 points with nine rebounds and one assist.
The Colts are back in action on Thursday, February 12 as they play host to Rockland Community College. Tip-off at 5:00 PM.
