Women’s Basketball Falls to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Science
Middletown, NY - The SUNY Orange women's basketball team fell short to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Science on Tuesday night. The Colts drop to 2-15 while the Panthers improve to 10-6 on the season.
The Colts struggled to find their momentum as the Panthers came out with high energy, jumping to a quick first quarter lead and extending it into the second quarter, 30-17. Coming out of the break the Colts fought to turn the game around, but their efforts fell short as the game closed out with a 55-51 victory for the Panthers.
Sophomore Adriana Vazquez (Newburgh, NY / John. S. Burke) led the Colts with 25 points, five rebounds,one assist and three steals. Freshman Jada Reed (Eldred, NY / Eldred) added 11 points, five rebounds, one assist, and three steals.
The Colts are back in action as they travel to Westchester Community College on Thursday, February 5 for a 5:00 PM tip-off.
