TROY, N.Y. - The SUNY Orange women's basketball team was taken down by the Hudson Valley Vikings on Thursday by a final score of 69-29.
The Colts struggled offensively throughout the night. As a team, the Colts shot the ball 17 percent from the floor, 10 percent from three-point range and 56.3 percent from the free-throw line. SUNY Orange did manage to cause 16 turnovers.
The team's leading scorer was freshman Madison Olsen (Wappingers Falls, NY / Roy C. Ketcham) who finished the game with 13 points, nine rebounds and one assist. Another strong performance came from freshman Grace Breheny (Cornwall, NY / Cornwall Central) contributing eight points and a team leading 14 rebounds.
Next up, the Colts are on the road to face Bergen Community College on November 8 at 12:00 PM.
