Bio
Coach Stein is entering his 1st season as a member of the Colts staff. A graduate of Chester HS, Stein attended SUNY Orange, where he played from 2021-23. Kevin cemented himself as a Colts legend by nailing 176 three-pointers for his career, the second-most in Orange history. As a freshman, he led the nation with 9.5 assists per game, an Orange record. Kevin made a single season record 123 threes as a sophomore in 2022-23. That same year, he helped lead the Colts to a 31-3 record and the NJCAA Final Four. He was also named 1st-team All-Mid-Hudson Conference in 2023. Kevin went on to attend McKendree University in Illinois, an NCAA Division II school. During his career as a Bearcat, Coach Stein averaged 10.4 points per game, started 36 games, led the team in assists as a senior (3.8 a/g) and was a 2nd-team All-GLVC selection.
