Men’s Basketball Secures Victory Over USMAPS
Middletown, NY - The SUNY Orange men's basketball team took down USMAPS 94-82 on Monday night, improving to 19-3 on the season.
The first half was a hard-fought battle, with both teams trading baskets throughout. Neither side was able to create any separation, as the teams went into halftime tied at 44-44. Returning from the break, the Colts made key adjustments, built momentum and secured the 94-82 victory.
Leading the Colts was sophomore Keishawn Morris (Brooklyn, NY / South Shore) who posted a career high 35 points with four rebounds, eight assists and five steals. SophomoreDarren McFarlane (Bronx, NY / Monsignor Scanlan) added a double-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds while also adding one block.
The Colts are back in action on Thursday, February 5 as they travel to Westchester Community College for a 7:00 tip-off.
