Men’s Basketball Cruises Past Bronx Community College

Bronx, NY - SUNY Orange men's basketball took down Bronx Community College 124-73 on Thursday night. The Colts improved to 14-1 on their season. 

The Colts jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. By the end of the first half, SUNY Orange led 60-33, a 27-point advantage. Coming back from halftime, the Colts continued their dominant performance, adding 64 points in the second half.

As a team, the extremely efficient Colts shot 60.7% from the field. 

Leading the Colts was freshman Anthony Pacciarelli (Monroe, NY / St. Joseph) who recorded 36 points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals. Sophomore Darren McFarlane (Bronx, NY / Monsignor Scanlan) chipped in 17 points, three rebounds, three assists, and five steals. 

Next up, SUNY Orange plays host to Monroe Community College on Saturday, January 10. Tip-off is scheduled for 12:00 pm.
