Middletown, NY – The SUNY Orange men's basketball team fell to the nationally ranked No.25 Raritan Valley. The Colts are now 11–1 on the season, while the Lions improve to 10–3.
The game was back-and-forth, with each team exchanging points and neither able to build a decisive lead. The Colts battled hard and had a chance to secure the win but missed a last-second buzzer-beater, giving Raritan Valley the victory.
For the Colts, freshman Anthony Pacciarelli (Monroe, NY / St. Joseph) led the team with 20 points, nine rebounds, and two assists. Sophomore Darren McFarlane (Bronx, NY / Monsignor Scanlan) added 18 points, four rebounds, one assist, and two steals.
The Colts are back in action on January 6, traveling to face Middlesex College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
