Middletown, NY - The SUNY Orange Colts took down the number one nationally ranked DIII Mohawk Valley by a final score of 101–71. The Colts improve to 11–0, while the Hawks drop to 7–1.
Freshman Anthony Pacciarelli (Monroe, NY / St. Joseph) delivered another dominant performance with 28 points, six rebounds, one assist, and two steals. Sophomore Keishawn Morris (Brooklyn, NY / South Shore) added 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Sophomore Darren McFarlane (Bronx, NY / Monsignor Scanlan) chipped in 20 points while recording five rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
The Colts wasted no time setting the tone in the first half, taking an early lead. By halftime, they held a commanding 53-33 advantage.
Coming back from the break, the Colts continued to apply pressure on the defensive end to create opportunities on offense. The Colts outscored the Hawks 48-38.
