Colts vs Monroe Express

For the 4th game in a row the Suny Orange Colts secured the win against Monroe Express in a comeback victory, where they were trailing by 9 points going into the second half before a huge performance from guard Mat Shea. Shea managed to score 20 points in just the second half alone to help the Colts get the win. The Colts were able to score an enormous 50 points in just the second half to Monroe's 35 with the help of Marquil Gill and Mat Shea as they were tonight's leading contributors to the 83-77 victory over Monroe Express. The Colts will be traveling to Rockland for their next game as they look to win their 5th game in a row.

Freshman, #2 Mat Shea (Wallkill, NY) had the performance of the night as he scored 26 points while scoring 20 of those points in the second half alone.  Aside from his great offensive performance Shea recorded 6 rebounds, dished out 3 assists, blocked 3 shots and came away with one steal. 

Freshman, #1 Marquis Gill (Middletown, NY)  played 37 minutes in tonight's game and in that time Gill scored 19 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, dished out 4 assists and came away with one steal. 

Sophomore, #4 Daniel Lans (Spring Valley, NY) was all over the place as he scored 12 points, earned 6 steals and also dished out 6 assists
