Valhalla, NY - The SUNY Orange baseball team fell to Westchester Community College on Saturday, May 2, by a final score of 14-1.
Westchester took a dominant 10–0 lead in the second inning, and the Colts were unable to respond. SUNY Orange got on the board in the fourth inning with an RBI from Jacob Morino (Goshen, NY / Goshen). The Vikings answered with four more runs in the fourth, securing a 14–1 victory.
Anthony Borromeo (Beacon, NY / Beacon) faced 18 batters, allowing 10 earned runs while striking out two. Julian Butcher (Wallkill, NY / Wallkill) faced 12 batters, allowing four earned runs with two strikeouts, and Eddy Marte (Washingtonville, NY / Washingtonville) faced one batter and recorded one strikeout.
