Stone Ridge, NY - The SUNY Orange baseball team dropped a road matchup against Ulster County Community College, by a final score of 11-1 on Friday, April 10.
The Colts got on the board first and brought in one run in the first inning thanks to an RBI double from Thomas Grogan (Newburgh, NY / Marlboro). Ulster responded quickly by bringing in one run.
Ulster took the lead in the second inning, after driving in one run. In the third inning the Senators took full control bringing in six runs.They carried momentum into the fourth inning adding three runs to secure the 11-1 victory.
Pitching for the Colts was sophomore Anthony Borromeo (Beacon, NY / Beacon), facing 29 batters allowing 11 earned runs.
The Colts face Ulster County Community College in a doubleheader at home on Saturday, April 11.
